Goddess

Hi, I have been researching the goddesses and have been drawn to Hecate. On further looking and research everywhere advises to avoid or honour with caution. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with her or knowledge about her. Thanks.

I can't say I have any experience with her, and I have little knowledge about her, however I do know she is a lady of crossroads and that she is a protectress against magic.

I've wanted do do a spell which called on Hecate some time ago, but unlike you, when I started researching, I felt very distant because of the conflicting information. There is a post on this site; Post 343763 detailing the facts around her.

I would think the people who wrote spells and articles about her would be best to approach for direction.

I would say that if you feel drawn to Hecate then by all means pursue that feeling. Hecate is not so much dangerous as she is sometimes uncomfortable to work with. She is the Goddess of Witches. But she also has strong ties to the Crossroads and to the Underworld. She challenges us to face difficult choices and to know ourselves. Many people don't like to do this and therefore want to avoid Hecate. But if you truly want to know yourself and have the courage to do so, she is a good one to help you.
