very odd, did he swallow a chew toy? [a la Snatch]

no clue what the issue is really, take him to a vet to be checked out. magickal options though, you could try energy healing, i've heard you can use reiki and energy healings on animals, so you could try that. also, Hectate [Hecate] is the protector of dogs, so try calling upon her for protection of your pet.

Your dog needs a veterinarian, not a spell. This could be something minor or serious, and it is best handled with a vet and a vet alone. Sorry to hear your dog being in a state other than perfect health. :(

magick isn't a cure all, if you're hoping to say a few words, see a glow around your dog and it's gone, that won't happen. go to a vet, play for protection, and try an energy healing. the squeak is probably has to do with the dogs lungs, i'm no doctor [or vet] but it could be a tiny hole, or an infection, or scaring on the dogs lungs, which could be nothing, either way you should still look into it.

try to get your dog to lie down, then cup your hands around him, and feel/visualize energy entering your dog and healing him. try and make a chant up asking Hectate to help you.

i posted a while back a protection spell for animals, if you would like to try it. http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/spiritual_spells/protection_spells/9994/page.html

Has your dog been this way since you got him? It could be a training situation, or the type of dog he is. Some dogs, often smaller breeds, have more energy than others, he may just not be getting enough attention or exercise and this is his way or acting out or calling for attention. The squeaking could be a lung problem if its like a wheeze, or he does it all the time, in which case, I advise a vet. But if its just randomly sometimes, it may just be a noise he's started making and you're just now noticing.
My dog , Daorach, tends to starve himself for days when he wants wet food instead of dry food, and he will get sickeningly thin, but the vet said he's just trying to get wet food and not to give in. He will also start favoring a leg/limping when he wants extra attention. Again, the vet said there was nothing wrong with him, he's just needy and thinks he's clever.
This could just be your dog thinking he's clever and trying to get extra treats or attention. Give him more play time or walks, but be stern with him to be calm inside, so he knows its unacceptable behavior. Always try a vet first though, just to make sure.
Spells can't cure everything, and you shouldn't rely entirely on them throughout your whole life. Goddess helps those who help themselves.

vet's don't go around killing pets [unless they're some type of super villain] what will most likely happen is the vet will check out your dog, give you a diagnosis, a couple options and a bill for 100$. i've had family who've brought old pets into the vets in the past with different ailments, euthanization was normally the last option. remember though if your dog is suffering, keeping him alive [when it's terminal] is selfish. i don't want to say it will or won't come to that, but it's always an option you need to prepare for.
