White ribbon...

This morning I found a plastic white ribbon tied tightly on our front gate. As I removed it I saw it had either pink paint or powder in the middle. Does anyone know what this could mean? What's weirder is that I had a sense of deja vu as I removed it.

could of been a purification or protection spell. or someone just randomly tied a ribbon on your gate. a white ribbon, in our society, represents lung-cancer awareness as well as spousal abuse and a few other things [same way a pink ribbon is for breast cancer or a red ribbon is for AIDS] a final option is, there was a song about tie a yellow ribbon on an oak tree to symbolize a loved one away at war. could be something similar. personally, it's probably a passer by tied some ribbon on your gate, or someone placed a protection spell on your house. more likely the first option though.

Thanks for the reply. =) There's no one we know that would do a protection spell on us, sadly only the opposite. I just found it odd that it was small and looked like someone was trying to hide it in a not so obvious place. Maybe I'm just being a little too suspicious, who knows lol. It just confuses me since it was white with pink paint in the middle.
