Okay so for about the last year and a half I have either had a nightmare or had no dream whatsoever when I fell asleep which I feel is causing insomnia. All I really want is to have a good/peaceful dream and a good nights rest. So I was wondering if anybody could give me some suggestions and/or help figure out why this is happening. It would be well appreciated. thank you

Most of the nightmares are about some aspect of death or dying. When I have them I wake up in between 11PM and 3AM. When I have no dreams I wake up in between 2AM and 5AM. This is just a little info to help

Whenever I have nightmares, I ground and center. Then I cleanse myself and my chakras. I would suggest banishing, cleansing, and shielding yourself. Make a sleep charm (a dreamcatcher or something to help you sleep well). Relax with a warm drink and think positive thoughts.

If you're interested in crystal energy, I suggest amethyst, which has been known to help sleep issues like nightmares and insomnia.

To use it you should attune it to youself, cleanse it, charge it and program it with your intention. Then you just set it somewhere near you in the bedroom while you sleep.

I have tried many times to ground and center myself but I feel my technique for doing that is not working. As for the idea with the amethyst I have the technique down but I do not have the amethyst so that is still a work in progress. thank you all for helping and I'll reply back when they work :)

Dream catchers are wonderful tools to use to catch nightmares. I would also recommend thinking positive thoughts and placing a Quarts crystal near your head when you sleep.

Before I start throwing out random suggestions, I need to know what position do you fall asleep in, and what position do you find yourself waking up in? And do you move around a lot or just wake up exactly how you fall asleep? I need to see if this could have a physical tie before I rule anything out. Thanks.
