animal guardian question

Is it possible to have an animal guardian of something you don't like? For instance if I disliked spiders, could it still possible be my animal?

Yes. Each animal has something special to teach. In fact there are many people who have guardians they may be afraid of or have had a bad experience with in the past. some guides "test" those they guard to see if they are worthy of them or to try and help them in some other way, such as confronting a fear. As you learn to connect more with your guide, your feelings of uncomfortableness with start to diminish.
