Herbs like vervain?

Hiya! Does anyone know if there are any commonly found herbs that can be used in place of vervain? The shops in my area dont carry vervain, so im looking for a substitution..

I'm in no means trying to insult your intelligence. I just wanted to be certain that you knew that vervain and verbena are the same thing. Perhaps the shops call it verbena instead.

If you are using it for protection purposes some lavender will work just as well.

Lol I meant that it doesn't sell vervain at all - like under any of its' aliases...

Well it all depends on the reason you were going to use it. There are plenty of herbs for plenty of different things. Such as a love spell or divination uses. Also Rosemary can be substituted for any herb there is.

What are you trying to do with Vervain? Are you using for medicine or for magick ? There are plenty of herbs that should be able to fill the place of one that you can't aquire easily!

Verbena is very easy to grow, and quite productive. I am growing purple verbena, which is very lovely and has a wonderful aroma. I am growing them in pots, but there is also some growing on the property (apartment complex) which is why I decided to try it. After the growing season, you cut it down almost to the dirt, and it comes up again in the spring. Might be another way of getting it for you. Blessings!

If you can't obtain Vervain locally, why not order it online?
