Somewhat New to Magick?

Ok, so I used to love magick so so much and I would buy a ton of books and supplies to make B.O.S's and alters and the thing is, I'm only 14 and I still believe highly in god AND the essence of magick. I don't want to tell my parents about my love for magick so I'd hide everything, but being a teenager with a messy room and a clean freak mother, it was getting hard to hide my things. Eventually, I'd have a stress out and throw everything away. My parents do know I'm very spiritual and i'm sure they would understand, I'd just prefer not to tell them. I'm starting magick again and including God into my practice. Believing in everything has energy and that heaven does exist. What my question is, I want to make a B.O.S again and start practicing but is it worth the money I'd spend on crystals and leather journals? I need the incentive to keep it up, so I don't throw everything away again and not think about magick for many months like last time. Help anyone?

I have a family book that I'm re writing and adding to, but I would use a five subject note book or a file on your pc.

get a Mead notebook. no need to buy a leather bound book. Im also curious how at 14, and being secretive how you managed to get money and go buy crystals, supplies and big blank leather books without your parents knowing.

while leather bound is nice, you can use a scrap book. it doesn't matter, it's what you make of it.

in terms of magick and God, magick isn't attached to one religion, it's working with natural energy to create change, hence the Christian Wicca community among others. if you can't speak with your parents, i hope you have someone to talk to like a priest or reverend. [assuming you're Christian] while i have met my share of close minded religious leaders, i've met more that are open to discussion. the point of a religious leader isn't to yell at you for an hour about why you're going to hell, or quote from a book, the person is their to help and guide you. you should pull them aside and ask if you could set up an appointment to talk. sit down and explain your dilemma and what they feel you should do. in terms of your parents, you should tell them, but do so at the right time, be prepared with answers, and don't let your emotions get the better of you.

my opinion with your situation, magick doesn't go against anything if you're using it to help others who ask. spells that force or do harm to others would be going against some religious teachings. if you live by a code of ethics, and do good, your God shouldn't be upset with you. at least my views anyway.
