Hey everyone! I'm new here to this site, and also to the world of magic in general. First off, I just want to say, I find the community here very incredible, with plenty of educated, intellectual, respectful and eloquent members. It's such a shame Hollywood and modern society ostracizes practitioners of magick due to their lack of understanding and their ignorance.
Now for my question. I was wondering if someone could help me cast a powerful love spell and/or binding spell to bind a particular person to me. I've been reading up on this topic, and it seems the magical community is quite iffy on the subject. There are many differing and varying opinions about it. But I'm hoping someone could still help me.
The person that I'm trying to bind to me, I have been in a relationship with for seven going on eight months. We've lived together, he's absolutely handsome, fit, ambitious, family-oriented, great with children, very intelligent, funny, etc. etc. I could go on. Of course he has his shortcomings, but I believe with my whole heart he's the love of my life. I don't want anyone else and neither does he.
Our relationship has been pretty great, loving, affectionate, we planned our future to the T, from medical school, our own house, children, with all the projected expenses. Very, VERY detailed and time consuming.
The last several weeks, past month, has been particularly stressful. He moved back with his parents so he could focus on the Army. Long story short, last week he was completely fine, and then overnight it's like he flipped a switch and he broke up with me, took a "break". I'm not gonna lie, I haven't been perfect, I've been needy, clingy, and pushing him to spend time with me because it seemed he kept forgetting about me. I'm trying to work on that so I can be better for me and us. I know for certain he still loves me and cares for me. He said he wants to be alone and doesn't want to worry about this until he comes back after seven months. He hasn't been hostile since the breakup, but kinda just treats me like an annoying pest, since I visit his mom because we talk and she's alone.
Unfortunately, I know questions of morality and free will are bound to pop up in your mind. But I would appreciate it if we kept that away from this discussion. If I cast this binding spell, we're together for the rest of our lives, and he ends up being a complete loser, that's my lesson to learn.
I've made my decision and am completely determined to go through with this spell. I might be a newb, but I have love in my heart, faith, and a strong will. I have full belief this spell will work for me and will seal our commitment. He's leaving for Basic in a week, so I'm hoping to cast it within the next couple days. If not, definitely within the first weeks of when he's away.
I'm hoping someone out there will help to give me the proper spell and guide me with the casting. Please and thank you.

this is your thought, you seem willing to except this as a possibility, but would he? Do you feel that if this were the way things turn out you have the right to choose such a fate for him?

I am not sure how much experience you have with military life, so I will share a bit of mine. It is hard. Nothing about it is easy, people change at times while serving. He is making a commitment to something larger than himself and may feel that it is not fair to make one to you at this time as well.
You say things changed 'overnight', give it some time to see how much they have changed. He may well want to be with you after he gets done with Basic. Forcing this issue could make serious problems that you have not even considered.
I would advise against doing a binding ritual. I have been through something really similar, you should go read my post in fact because I am looking for advice and it is no laughing matter.
If he really loves you he will come back, and messing with free will can mostly likely lead to some unwanted situations. You may discover a side to him that you never knew.
One suggestion that you might like is that you can perform a ritual with the intent to bind yourselves together and offer YOURSELF to his spirit. That way if his spirit responds, you will feel the "pull" and know that he did it of his own free will with your invitation. He will not necessarily know that the spell was performed, but he WILL feel the results. Part of his soul/spirit or higher self, will decide for him. Most likely his truest desire. If he accepts - you will know, trust me. I offered myself to a woman and she accepted, it was the most powerful magical experience I have ever had. But be aware I don't know how to undo the spell. You two have known each other for a long time so I`m sure circumstances would be different for you. I was very irresponsible and barely knew the person I am know bonded too. The experience has been miserable to say the least.
