Magic(k) is unpredictable, you can't control the time that it gets done. You must have patients.

Candle magic(k) is basic.

like Witch said, magick is unpredictable, you're working with energy, and in order for it to work you need to focus enough energy, visualize and have the desire for the spell to work. casting a love spell without talking to the person won't work, casting a job spell without passing out a few resume's won't work either. you need to want it, the spell will help achieve your goals faster, but you need to work for it as well. an average spell, in my opinion, takes one moon cycle. some take more, don't know of many that take a week, unless you're using some type of study aid, protection spell, or charm.
