A 'Charm' could be any number of things, a general definition could be: "A simple spell or item/object that has had magick worked on it to aid in a desired effect."

So say if my necklace is charmed wat will it do

It does what it was "charmed" to do. If it was charmed to draw good luck, that is what it will do.

A charm is a spell that is casted onto a person or object.Some charm spells that can be placed on people are luck,love,protection etc.Objects are a totally different matter as a person should have a certain connection to it before trying to charm it.You can charm almost any object from your favorite pen to bring you luck,necklace for protection,a ring for love or something as simple as a mug for stress relief.

Whatever the purpose charms do whatever you will them to do so make sure you clearly state your intentions.A charm for health would help promote good health acharm for luck will keep bad luck away and promote good luck.

Charms can be a variety of things

The thing that people never state is how to do these things! Yah sure you can write about it, but can you tell us step by step how to do so?! This really bugs me. It sounds like there are alot of noobs and not alot of experienced practioners...

HolyShadow, the OP didn't ask how to create a charm, he asked what one was and what it could do. If he had asked how to go about creating one then it is likely someone would have gone through the steps on how to make one. There are plenty of very experienced magic users on this site, but many of us don't simply hand out spells willy nilly to just anyone who asks.

Ok that's true. But it would help out alot of people in understanding the craft much better if people gave out instructions on how to do so. But now that we're on this topic do you know how to make a charm for love? If you dont feel comfortable sharing in the forums than you can private message me.
