Hi, I was wondering today If there is a Wiccan version of the bible, or like some kind of document that wiccans go by? I'm interested in learning more about the wiccan culture and how things are done the way they are, not too much with spells and casting them at the moment or the moon cycles or color. I heard about "the book of shadows" but then I realized that the ones I was looking at are just a diary type of book that you write in. Any suggestions?

Wicca does not have any sort of sacred book such as the Bible, or the Koran. There are some books on the market that go by the name of The Witch's "Bible" but they are simply books about Wicca, not something considered holy or sacred by any means. Nor does Wicca have any central authority that tells us exactly what we must believe.
If you're interested in learning more about Wicca then I'd suggest looking through the pinned posts in the Wicca Forum. You might want to look in particular at "The Core Beliefs of Wicca" that is posted there. There are a number of books suggested there in the Resources for Beginners, as well as some websites, that will get you on your way with your studies.

i'd look into beginners guides by Raymond Buckland or Scott Cunningham. the religion was founded by Gerald Gardner, if you can find books on or by him, this might be helpful as well.

those two sites might be helpful. as Lark also mentioned, look through the forums. there's also articles that can help.
any books worth protecting or to be considered sacred is the BoS which is like a personal diary of your experiences. BoS stands for Book of Shadows. but as others have said there isnt anything sacred or a "higher" authority telling us what to practice and what not to practice. that is soley up to the practitioner

The BoS is sacred but it cannot be consider exactely a Holy Book a as Bible is, because a Book of Shadows is more like a Journal and it's different from witch to witch. There was a quote I read long time ago and it said something like: "If you put your Bible in rain or fire, it will be ruined. But if we put ours it won't happened anything, because our Bible is the rain and the fire." I am not very sure about the quote, but the idea init was the same:)
