cards falling out of deck

Sometimes when I shuffle my tarot cards will fall out of the deck. I have read that the deck is telling you it is ready. Do you pick up the cards and put them back in the deck or would the card that falls out be the first card in your spread?

I keep the card separate from the spread and use the card as extra clue once I have done the reading and interpreted how all of the cards ,within the spread relate between each other.I see it rather as source of extra insight ,and I decide how this insight fits into the situation ,depicted by the cards I picked for the spread.
This is of course my way to go about with it.Many people simply put the card back in the deck and keep shuffling or some use it as their first chosen card in position one.
I adopted this method that I am using till this day ,because that is how it felt right to me and I tend to listen to my intuition in general.
I think the best way to go is to ask your intuition, about what should you choose to do with it.Of course hearing other people opinions is not bad as idea either.
Read what everyone has to say ,then consult your intuition and only then go about choosing your way to go about with it in the future .
Best of luck.:)

Right right Artemisia.
First thing to do Midnitesoul, get acquainted with your deck(s).
To clarify what Artemisia said, listen to how you communicate with your deck(s). Sometimes you'll even have sporadic deck that will once in a while tell you (in its own, special way) to do things a little differently.

When just 1 or 2 cards fall out, it is a sign...in case a lot of cards are falling down, put them back.

But if a card falls out and you can see whats drawn, dont ignore it :)

Sometimes I make note of the card as an after thought, like once you're done your reading go 'by the way, while shuffling the two of cups fell out' then tie it into the reading. Most of the time though I just put it back. Once or twice I use it at the first card in the spread. These cards from what I've seen do tie in rather well sometimes. Just go with your gut, if you feel this card should be used, do so, but if you don't get a feeling, just put it back in the deck.

I was told that a card falling out of your deck is a part of your reading and you should set it aside.

Any card that fall out of the deck should be put to the side and add then to your reading. They could be very important to the reading.

For me it depends. If I was going to do a three card spread and exactly three cards fall out of the deck well then those are the three cards I will use for my reading. If I am doing a five card spread and one card drops out of the deck then I put it aside and shuffle my deck and proceed with the reading.
I would like to point out it is best to go with your intuition. If it does no feel right to you then place it back in your deck and start over again.
I stopped doing placing cards back into my deck since one time I was doing a reading and the exact number of cards for the spread fell out of the deck.Myself not being comfortable with it placed them into the deck only to have the same cards show up later in the spread.
