Not feeling the Power

I know I'm channeling power, b/c my friend(a witch) tells me she can feel it. But I don't feel the power like I use to. Why is that?

We are in a retrograde so that could be some of your problem.

what is a retrograde?

Um, we are not in retrograde. Mercury, the planet is. Meaning Mercury slows down, and appears to stop and move backward or in retrograde. It's an optical illusion. But astrologically has an effect on us. Mercury affects communication the most, be it physical or spiritual. Misunderstandings, losing things, delays, phone-lines conking off, computers giving trouble, are some of the things that can happen. It's best to avoid making set plans during the Mercury Retrograde. This means holding off on signing contracts, and forming partnerships and alliances. What gets put in writing at this time may turn out to need serious revising after Mercury goes direct. Mercury in retrograde is also a time for reconciliations. I usually avoid spell work during this time. The best thing to do is meditate, ground, centre and wait it out. Things should get back to normal post the 10th of Nov
