Empath? Mind reader?
By:
For a long time, I have noticed that when I am completely relaxed and without a guard, that I pick up emotions and thoughts that aren't my own. It concerns me sometimes, but I can't help but want to know how to control this more. How to expand or how to keep to my own mind. Emotions are a lot more common than thoughts. Does anyone have any suggestions on spells, experiments, or just advice, anything would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I say meditate and try to trigger this voluntarily. The best way to practice and experiment is with someone else for you to read. Protection is more difficult, I suggest sticking to standard defensive spells if you can't find another empath to practice with.

Practice makes perfect. Just be careful, some people can sense the link, and it may make them feel weird or annoyed fairly quickly if done too often. I simply put some music in my ears to block them out.

You need to shield to keep others' emotions at bay. Every empath has to learn this. Otherwise, it would drive us crazy. lol

I feel emotions that aren't mine a lot. I thought I was just imagining things, and then found out a spirit was trying to talk to me. It's not always a human sending emotions around. I talk to the spirit a lot now to keep it company, and in return it guards me like a shield.

^^ Dahvid 's post has a perfect example of a verbal "agreement" with a spirit. Just saying.
