Aye, mates. How have you been?
Do some of you know any herbs i can cultivate in a sub-tropical area? I'm from Brazil and a good part of herbs used on the Craft grow on very specific temperatures and places, very, very different from the hot and dry ambient here.

I live in the southwestern desert of US, and I grow a number of herbs. If you have a place you can keep them from strong wind, and afternoon shade, you can grow quite a number of herbs. Putting up a wind break, such as some kind of hedge that grow in your area, you are essentially creating a micro climate, which is fine for growing many things. Sage, rosemary, thyme, mint, and chamomile are things I'm growing currently. You'll be fine growing these and more. Blessed Be...

Not really. They mostly like well drained soil, and no adding a lot of food. Just use what you have. Mint takes lots of water, while sage doesn't like "wet feet". Rosemary likes watered on the dirt, not the leaves. Sage is the same way. If you water then from above, they tend to make a hole for the water to go in, leaving that hole in the bush. Better to water at the ground. Planting marigolds on the corners of the garden will keep most pests out. Can't think of anything else at the moment. Good luck!
