Could there be a way to help influence Astral Projecting beside all the physical concentrating type stuff. I will attempting contact while I sleep, so I didn't know if there were a spell or a way to bless a crystal to help me achieve contact...any ideas?
There are lots of audio tracks that contain various sound affects, music, etc, operate on different sound waves such as alpha, theta and beta, that are suppose to help with many forms of mental disciplines from psychic development, to addiction, to astral projection. I found a lot of them googling the subject, and you can also see many on Youtube.
There is a way to evoke astral projection that is more simplified than many, that the users I spoke with confirmed it worked quite well for many.
Before you go to sleep, set an alarm for 2 hrs before you usually awake, or the time when you usually have REM sleep.. your deepest sleep.
When the alarm goes off and you wake up, go to the bathroom and splash some water on your face, then return to laying down, flat on your back.
You should have that half-asleep feeling, yet your mind is swimming.. Close your eyes and concentrate... Let your mind drift, like you are slowly letting go of a balloon thread..
Keep doing this without conscious thought and your mind should 'pop' out of your body
I have honestly found practice is a bit more important than concentration... yes, it is needed when you are first learning, but as you progress, it will become easier, to the point that it is almost second nature to simply sit down and slip into the needed mindset for Astral Projection. Just remember though, practice makes permanent.
As to waking up in the middle of the night, I'm not going to down the idea... I just don't suggest it for the fact that breaking a sleep cycle can have adverse affects, not only physically and mentally but also doing so can inadvertantly lead to problems on a sub-concious level. It can leave you reseptive to outside influence and even very unwanted nightmares... trust me, it's a very tried interrogation technique to break sleep cycles at opportune times...
Anyways, I didn't want to put that out there to offend people who use this technique, I just felt you should know both sides of the coin before attempting it. Good luck.
I have never had an adverse sleep effect relating to this technique, but everyone has a different experience. I was only suggesting a way I know of..
Meditation is altogether safer, but to get to that level of concentration and possessiveness of your body, it takes a great deal and much time of practice.
