Okay, i have been studying wicca for a few years. I found my Goddess Aphrodite, a few months ago. I adore her, i feel safe and comfortable and loved by Her. However i used to be Christian, and i feel like i am being called by Jesus to keep him in my life. I have done so much research on the similarities between the two. Is it possible to have Jesus as my God and Aphrodite as my Goddess? I speak to Jesus and feel replies, i speak to Aphrodite and get the same. When i encountered something unfriendly i called upon both and i knew it worked. I felt safe and it felt right. Im fighting myself over this, and have been for weeks. I think Jesus wants us to be wiccan. What do you think? Please reply and tell me your opinions, and any help any of you can give would be greatly recieved. Thankyou.

Wicca is at its most basic a fertility religion where it is believed that the energy that powers everything in the universe comes from the sexual union between the God and the Goddess. Can you feel comfortable with that if you are using Jesus and Aphrodite as the male and female in this relationship?
Personally, if you want to work with both Jesus and Aphrodite I think that's fine. However, it is likely that what you are creating is a personal spiritual path which is neither Christian nor Wiccan. I would not refer to it as Wicca by any stretch of the imagination.
As to whether Jesus wants everyone to be Wiccan, I doubt it. What Jesus was trying to do was to reform Judaism. He didn't even want to create a new religion of Christianity. That was the doing of his followers.
I'm interested in your choice of your god and goddess because those two have had an influence on my life as well. As for Jesus wanting us to be Wiccan is sort of what I've been getting from him (wiccan is not specified it seems to be mainly occult and magick in general) even though the bible says otherwise. From what he told me he did not stop the discrimination sooner because people would fall to tricksters and harmful spirits (you see this alot in spiritualist even now) when he was not able to help them. But it appears nows the time to change it due to the increasing popularity
This question is not strickly a Wiccan question and it is a different path from what many call Wicca therefor being in the other paths forum section is appropriate.
Most times choosing gods from different pantheons is not wise especially if the gods are not familiar with each other. You have picked two that actually have some history together since Rome was eventually converted to Christianity and these gods were worshiped together in the same are for years before the conversion.
You may want to check out the following link. It is the Zeitgeist movie;
I think there is a possibility that he could want people to practice magick/witchcraft in a positive way, but considering Wicca is a religion with specific deities not including Jesus I have strong doubts he would actively wish people to convert to a different religion yet at the same time one of the biggest things spoken about in Christianity is free will so he wouldn't stop you from doing so.
Jesus did not originally intend to be worshiped as he is today, the modern bible in many ways is incomplete since it was put together by Constantine and his council of Nicea.
And yes OP you are correct, Jesus does want us to understand magick and mysticism since Jesus himself was a mystic!
Unfortunately his true message has been lost in modern Christianity, although it is preserved in the Gnostic traditions.
Here's an interesting video by the late great Allen Watts regarding Jesus' true message:
Kts makes an interesting point....however, if one actually reads the Gospel, they can see that as Brysing was saying, he was reforming Judaism, which was very strict in its devotion to Yahweh(YHVE), a Diety that demanded exclusive devotion (1st commandment was very clear on this). The Pentateuch (1st 5 books of the Old Testament) is very adamant on exclusive devotion to Yahweh.
