Magick and Animals.

How many of you cast spells over your domesticated animals? Or, does anyone include their or any animals in their magickal working?

I intend on doing some healing over my dog and get into healing his chakra. This us very stupid, but I actually did just learn that animals have chakras as well. I am going to heal my puppies chakra just as I'm healing my own.

My dog protects me and I put a blessing over her to be shielded from harm. I also ask the spirits of this land to protect her from harm. I wish I could do more but I cannot have her in house with relatives I stay with. Otherwise no magic. I run around with her and play keep away, groom her, feed her well, keep plenty of water buckets full around in and out of barn and outside of house for her and I spread hay and old clothes out in barn for her comfort in around her dog houss. :-)

Awwe, well you're just the best. :) my dog has bad rashes and we finally found a herbal remedy to help him so I was happy. I need to do a spell for him though.

When mine got cut up by a crazed drunk we thought we would lose her. Our Veterinarian is a miracle worker. The guy who cut het only got 30 days in jail. If I had not been away on business, she would not have gotten hurt and I would be in prison for what I would have done to him. She protected the house from him and I spoil her more than I did before. She is my little hero. :-)

Oh my goodness, I would have gone to prison if anyone did that to my baby as well. Like my dog is literally like my little brother and I'd go crazy if anything happened to him. I think that guy got off too easy. Abusing an animal should be treated as abusing a human child in any way. But good thing for great care takers like you in this world.

Many paths have spirit guides, power animals or animals that are sacred to the path they follow.

These animals are used in magickal workings however as for domesticated animals they only way to have any control is to form a bond with them which takes time and effort.

Personal opinion on the last point.
