incomplete instructions

I found a spell that I would like to try, but I'm not sure about a couple of things. It calls to place a piece of paper into a fire...but it does not specify how to put out the fire or what to do with the ashes. Also, with what do I start the fire with? (i.e paper, twig??) I want to make sure everything is done correctly. Any advice?? Thanks!

If it isn't specified then its up to you. Most people prefer to use natural means start a fire. Like no plastic lighters. And put it out as well with natural means. Depending on the spell. If it has to do with getting rid of something then you can pour water on it and dispose of the ashes in running water. Or if you are trying to gain something you could put the fire out with dirt and bury the ashes.

Thanks. Its a love spell to bring someone back...It says to start the fire in a cauldron or other container that will hold the fire. So don't use a lighter?
