Greetings guys! I would love to work with a red skull candle to implant thoughts of me within a guys mind. I have searched, and searched and can nit find the exact method of doing this spell, so if someone is familiar with Hoodoo or this spell and general can you please tell me the step, by step spell for this?
Its best to just make a spell, and why look for a spell with a certain ingredient to do a porpoise, thats stupid (no offens) it would be mor smart to just look a spell that does what you want, why do you even care aboat a certain ingredient, its the effect that matters isnt it?
Here's my two cents on this. Don't have to agree, for this is just an opinion .
For some practitioners, items are important. Do you necessarily need items for a spell? No, but if you wish to use items then hey, that's no problem. Spells don't even have to have words, but if some prefer that, then that's no problem ether. Spells work with one's intent and the higher the intent, the higher chance the spell will work depending on what it is. Some practioners need items in order to focus their energy into the spell. It's a way of making sure they don't mess up on it or anything in that nature. A candle is an example of this. I personally use candles in my spellwork a lot. I don't need them to help me focus my intent because I have had enough practice to where I could do it without a candle, it is just of the fact that I like working with them. Effectiveness of a spell, depending on what it is, to me, has to do strongly with one's intent because intent is needed in one's spell. Lets say you sprinkle sea salt around your home, with the knowledge that it protects from negative energy. It's not going to work if you simply just sprinkle it around like nothing. Instead, as you are sprinkling it around, sprinkle it around with the intent of protecting your home along with yourself and anyone else that may live with you.
To Willa, I would suggest writing your own spell that works best for you, and especially don't look for one on this site as the spells here are mostly fluff. Now the current reason that you want to do this spell may or may not mess with your intended person's free will, but that is entirely up to you to decide whether or not you should do the spell without feeling guilt. Second, I think you should do research, if you have not, on Hoodoo and if you have, do some more before you go and do Hoodoo magic. Why not just stick with a simple love spell that doesn't involve Hoodoo? I for one don't approve of love spells that mess with one's free will, like implanting thoughts of you in another's head if they don't wish it, but again, that's up to you. Writing spells can be tough, but more effective. You have to be clear on what kind of spell you want it to be and any items you want to use as well. Research on how to write your own spells and the do's/don'ts.
I have used skull candles in the past, and what I've done has always depended on my desired outcome. The basis of it, however:
1.) Cleanse the candle with florida water or hyatt's cologne.
2.) Carve the target's name vertically, from base to wick, 9 times.
3.) Carve out the bottom or melt into it and stick my herbs, my personal item, etc, into the bottom. Some people do this in random holes through the skull so it burns sooner and they feel "connected" to the target.
4.) Plug up the hole with other wax, or cheese wax.
5.) Place the skull in a fireproof container.
6.) Use my oils of choice on the skull, wiping from base to wick while praying my intention. I take my time with this, and then sprinkle some more herbs around the skull.
7.) Late at night, when the target is asleep, I light the candle and talk to it through tobacco. I'm not a smoker, so what I do is just let a cigarillo burn and speak through that.
8.) I do this for about 5-7 nights, depending on how long the candle burns.
Keep in mind, there is no one way for you to use skull candles. Creating your own method might work best for you.
You can also use suggestion, both subtle and even on a subconscious level
to achieve desired results. I use suggestion quite a bit. It's not hypnotism by
any means, but definitely works. There are many techniques, such as
mirroring, suggestion by visual means ( like dressing to be noticed), even one
of my favourites, inserting my name in calculated places in conversation.
He might not dwell on it consciously, but will not forget it on a subconscious
level. Do some research, and be creative!
I mean, why use magick all the time, when mental techniques will suffice?
They usually produce quicker results if you are pressed for time, and use
no precious energy! Just my opinion :)
Using ceremonial items such as skull candles or holy water is often required especially for a beginner or from a religious standpoint. certain items are believed to have magical properties and can increase the potency of a spell, focus magical energies, and may be required in a ritual to gain the power of a god or spirit (I.e. Rune stones, sources of fire, holy water, etc) the most important being that it focuses a spell casters energy and attention which is a huge help to even the most experienced and I would say almost necessary for anyone who does
Not have many years of experience. The notion that anyone can just make up a spell and make it easy on themselves by just skipping the hard parts and only using words is, in my opinion, very Un informed. It takes experts to simply craft spells let alone without any magical objects and to use only words, to bend the will of the world simply by saying or reciting something sounds a little god like to me. Unfortunately I don't have much knowledge on the use of candles but I'd say you're much better off using them than not.
> why look for a spell with a certain ingredient to do a porpoise, thats stupid (no offens)
Adding "no offensE" to something doesn't really make it any less rude when you tell someone that what they're doing is stupid. Especially when they weren't asking you for input on whether or not she should do it.
> it would be mor smart to just look a spell that does what you want
That's what the OP is doing. Skull candles have a specific meaning and purpose in hoodoo. Obviously if they are using a skull candle, OP knows what they want. They are used to put thoughts into someone's head.
> why do you even care aboat a certain ingredient, its the effect that matters isnt it?
That's not how all people view things, and it's not how all systems of magic work. Ingredients are often a very powerful component of specific magical workings -- their spirits are what aids our petitions and carries them.
I still stand my point, for instance the baisicly same thing is marrying someone who you just met that day because your in the mood to marrying someone with black hair
No, it's not like that at all. It's more like "I have this item that I can use in a spell I want to do in order to achieve this goal. I'm not sure how to use it."
It's like going into your fridge and seeing you have a brick of tofu and wondering, "What steps do I need to take in order to make it a good stir fry?"
