Bottled spells?

Ok, so I was watching adventure time (one of mah fave shows) and it was when everyone was in wizard city. They had to buy a cold spell for Starchy the gravedigger, and so they went into a magic shop. When they asked for a cold spell, the clerk brought out a bottle and said that all they had to do to cast the spell was to open the bottle. So eventually they opened the bottle and the spell was cast. BAM! Instant spell. So I was wondering if you could do that with real magic. Like, actually bottling a spell. Not like a potion or something like that, I'm talking full on taking the energy from a spell and storing it inside a bottle for future use. Think that's possible?

well Adventure Time isn't the best source material for things to say the least, and spells don't instantly work, but you could store energy in an item to be used at a later date. some spells also have time lines associated with them, to be cast or finished by a certain date, but i don't think there's any spells where you open a bottle and instant success occurs. [but it is an interesting idea]
