Honey Jar Spell

Hi all.

I'm new here. I started a honey jar yesterday and I was just looking for some reassurance that I have done it correctly.

I removed three teaspoons of honey and ate them, each time saying what is meant to be said.

I placed in my petition written in red ink. Before folding the petition towards me, I placed in one of his hairs crossed with one of my hairs, cardamom, cinnamon and two pink rose petals.

I then burned a small pink birthday candle on the top. I spent around 5-10 minutes saying my wish that is on the petition aloud and thinking about what I want to achieve and how it would feel.

I don't have much time at home alone so this morning I burned a pink birthday candle on top, then at lunch time I burned a pink and a white birthday candle on top and this evening I have burned a pink birthday candle on top and currently there is a large white pillar candle burning on top. Each time I have burned a candle I followed the same 5-10 minute ritual that I had done yesterday. I have noticed that my petition has floated to the top and is not entirely covered by the honey now.

I was just wondering if everyone thinks that what I have done is alright?

Thanks xx

I have similar questions as you but slightly different as I'm on leave and have more time at home, I speak to my jar a lot, and leave it on overnight.
Can I watch tv whilst my jar is on ?
I made another for work and so I have 2 at the moment .
Regards.

Sorry I hijacked your thread

I've never personally done a honey jar. However, I've been practicing for years and have read about them. It sounds about right to me as I can't see what else you could do to really improve it.

And nanimoyo, I wouldn't do any spell work while watching tv. It distracts from focusing on the goal of the spell. You should always do magickal workings in a quiet space where you can really pay attention to what you are working on.

Good luck to you both.

Pardon me I think I failed to explain properly, I light my jar and pay attention almost 3to 4 hours then let the candle burn out whilst I'm doing something else eg tv or radio after 4 hours of attention .

I hope that, I'm paying it enough attention.
I feel confident though, that can only be good.

Hi again.

I have just been reading about possible signs from a reconciliation honey jar spell. I think I've been getting small signs, but I'm not sure.

Last night his name came up in a TV show I was watching and also he is Irish and on a completely unrelated Google search for a health and beauty website I was directed to websites based in Ireland with the word "Irish" in the title twice. Could they be signs? x
