If you can ask the question, then you have a soul. A body without a soul isn't able to do anything...it would be dead. But you are experiencing a real feeling that actually many people feel. You aren't alone.

perhaps you can try something new that gets you excited and emotionally involved? A hobby that you've always wanted to do but never got around to it?

I used to feel the same way.. But after much meditation and contemplation, I learned to observe it as my body being a divine puppet to which I hold the strings.

That's a heck of a sweeping statement,Irismoon! Are you saying that every living creature has a soul? Amoeba? Coral? They are living animals! Or are you saying that only Humans have souls?
How about the millions of insects; do they have souls? They are all very much alive!

Im not shour aboat your balives brysing but in most, and baisicly any balive system yes, every living thing has a soul, a tree, a fly, a dog, a fox, a bush and so one

Worry not, it is impossible to be born without a soul.Such thing would mean that you totally lacked consciousness, which you certainly don't. You would also lack will and emotion.And, actually you would simply be a lifeless shell.
