candle magick help?

do electric, small candles work as well? i have a mix of flame ones and electric ones.

I suppose it could if you believe it will work. Of course if you intend to burn a spell, you would not be able to do so with the electric one.

I have done several candle spells, and I have always found that working with the raw fire element is much more effective than substituting with an electrical one, however, as with most spells it is the intent first and foremost that is important.

I'm not sure they would work for me... but you can try it and see if it works for you. I would imagine that the energy of the fire would be more beneficial... but electricity has energy, too. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, *shrugs*... it was still a fun experiment.

it should work.....that being said i wouldnt call upon flames but the energy that electricity produces in the spell because it is not a flame.

I would recommend an actual wax candle for magick uses because its traditional and your using actual fire and fire has energy that you can use but I do have an electric candle I leave on at night just for comfort

I suggest you to use a normal candle with an actual flame for magic. Electric candle can also work if you think it is working, but I think it will be good to use original wax candles instead of electric one.
