No not only just Wiccans use the Book of Shadows, the Book of Shadows is a option name, many people call it their Journal, Grimiour (sorry if misspelled),..etc. The Book of Shadows is used by a lot of people that watch television or read book with it in it (not everyone uses this name).

Book of shadows, journal whatever you may call it, is a helpful took to many and unnecessary to others. Mostly, wiccans and witches use them to write down their experiences, and thoughts after a ceremony or other event. It is also used to refer to past spells, remedies, potions and events. So no, wiccans are not the only ones to have a book of shadows, not do all wiccans have or use a book of shadows.

Everything my witch teacher taught me she had me write down in a note book, I now have about thirty of these note books.(Some falling apart!). I never called them a Book of Shadows, but really, that's what they are!

Book of Shadows is just another name for your book of spells, and somewhat a journal if you choose to write experiences in it.

Hello
Not all wiccans cast spells nor have a book of shadows.
Some wish to call it a journal or note book.
A book of shadows is a personal notebook used to write down deitys, herbs, sabbats, and any thing else a person wants in it.
