Using graveyard dirt

So, I'm using graveyard dirt for sympathetic magic. I obtained it from the grave of my target's father as a means of personal connection. However, the man disliked me. I'm wondering if this might be an issue.

Hmm.Probably cleanse the dirt (spiritually) of any negative energy that may be present.
Just try not to use graveyard dirt too often.

It all depends on what this deceased man's spiritual capabilities are. If he has a strong spirit, he can definitely perform defensive magic from the other side. Keep this in mind.

Using dirt from atop a grave is dishonorable in the spirit world and therefore dangerous to you take caution using this as a spell component, because a flaw in a protective item or spell could come back to haunt you, quite literally...

i suggest that next time you do this (if you ever do it again) you shouldn't take soil from the grave:o it's dangerous and can back fire... like bad lol

well ok here's my suggestion
take Azurite or any other crystal you have:)
and bury it right under the surface of the soil
oh and it should be small in size!
then in a couple hours come back and before you take the crystal leave a little bit of sage on the grave (signifies wisdom and usefulness)
take the crystal and put it in a jar of mustard seeds.
this is a precaution for you:)
mustard seed is used as a vessel for your crystal because of it hard shell on the outside and its life in the inside:)
