Fascinated & Overwhelmed

My name is Sprocket and I have always been intrigued by this world of magic and arts. Recently I witnessed a close friend of mine (TR) suddenly become in-tune with another friend of mine (LH) and became a medium between LH and her father that had passed a few years prior. The 2 ladies had never met before that night and it was clear that TR and her communication with LH's father was real. LH was able to confirm everything that TR shared with her and LH was absolutely sure that this medium experience was real. This friend of mine TR has always told me that her mother is wiccan and has taught her some of the practices and that she herself practices. I have not been able to stop reading and exploring since. Upon discovering this site, I joined and have read so much starting with newbies, to starting out, etc... I am eager to get involved, possibly meet and learn from some true mentors and practice the arts as part of my everyday life. I am looking forward this and I am open to any constructive criticism or advice that the more knowledgeable members may have to offer. What a way to be introduced to it! It does get overwhelming for some people when you first learn the ways, I wish I still had that new spark, now I know so much (yet there is more to learn than I have learned, and there always will be), I can use it and love it just as much!
