How to empower magick items

How to empower my magick items before i will use them. Any one know to empowering them. Please help me.

M not an expert. But I say that you should enchant them. How as I said not an expert. This is all I know. I use magik without empowering items.

Do you mean charge them with energy before a spell, or bless your tools? If you are blessing your tools, there are many different rituals depending on your deities. Basically, pass the item through some sage smoke to cleanse it of any energy, then say a chant to your deities, and place it on the altar to be blessed. Hopefully you can leave the altar out all night, but if not, just leave them and meditate for a while.

For charging items [surtr listen too because spells only work with energy] hold the item in your hand [Athame, candle, herb, whatever] and let energy enter your body and flow down your arms and pool in the item held in your hands. There are many methods to charge energy, the one many I know do involves visualizing roots traveling from your body to the ground, first let negative energy leave your body through these roots, then visualize/feel positive energy entering your body the same way. I tend to visualize/feel energy entering from my shoulders, others visualize branches from their head. Other methods include chanting, dancing, and drumming. Find the best method for you, as long as you feel the energy in your body, and energy pooling in the item, you have charged it [typically the item will feel warm]

I know spells only work with energy. I channel extra energy to make sure the spells in process. I also store energy in my items. So I used all my reserves I have more in use.

Yes it is better to charge your item before using them.
