Okay I know this is gonna be a stupid question buy it just needs to be answered can someone really have fire water or air powers.

If you already know the answer, then what is the point in asking?

Honestly, I'm not exactly clear whether or not people are able to use elemental type of magick. I have never used that type of magick myself but I would assume that with the right equipment, somebody possibly could use each elemental type of magick to a point. Other than that, I have no clue.

There is such thing as elemental magick, but its not actually controlling the elements. Its more like using their energy in performing magick.

I'd say yes, but to such a small degree, and so inconsistent, that it won't replace technology. It's more psychokinesis/telekinesis, a psionics practice.

With magic, it's more like that concept of it that the material helps to understand, rather than the material itself is magic. That's why my own "elemental system" works more with notions than traditional elements, and corresponds to chess pieces instead of whatever the Greek natural philosophers thought the world was made up of, before real science got going.

Well, the answer is "no" if we're talking Avatar the Last Airbender, here. That's just fantasy; not that fantasy is bad. So long as you're grounded in reality, let your imagination run free.

But, elements add to the power of not just magick, but everyday life. When you tell a story around a campfire, the story somehow becomes much more enthralling. When you sit and watch the ocean, you lose yourself in your thoughts. Some people feel a surge of pleasure when they have a handful of earth in their hands. Nature is a giant part of most spiritual paths. There are many people in this world who feel an affinity with an element, and feel that it aids in their rituals, meditations, and so on, making everything much more powerful. It's why there are people who NEED to be near water (I for one LOVE standing in the rain), people who enjoy burning things, or people who are head over heels in love with gardening. In that sense, yes; People DO have elemental powers. It's just not as extreme as Airbender ^^;

I say it is posible but needs years of practicing and meditating but the are 2 things that can make it possible first is mwking a deep conection with four elements and its weaker but the second way is using other creaturs if possible xD you can mail if u want

There is elemental magik. But your asking the elements or help. You can't control the elements. Magik is a spiritual path not a you can control elements. Oh yeah and it the element of your zodiac sign. Mine is water.

I believe you can control the elements once they be a part of you and you be a part of them
But tye other way i said was using tge help of other creatures or better say having a creature under comand wich can do it for you

Ok, your actual question, I'm sorry but you cannot control the elements, humans cannot naturally do this, so magick cannot grant this ability. We work with the elements, and we can gain many things from working with the elements, but we cannot control them like in Avatar [cool as that may be.] If you want to specialised in a certain type of magick focusing on one element as a main component to the spell, or perhaps look into the Avatar philosophy and martial art styles, then you can. You sadly cannot conjure fireballs or tornadoes out of sheer will.
