Jinn

Forgive me for being ignorant on the subject of the jinn but I attempted to learned about them but all information I read is conflicting most of it is from Muslims who are stuck on a certain mind set about them being evil/dirty/ect which i regard as false information but I would really like to know more all about them.

Well Djinn arearabic in orgins. So The Muslim/ Arabic writings should be more correct on the matter. Everything i hear about the Djinn are that the are negative/ evil beings. They live in te spiit world/ astral plane. Other than that, if you want to learn more i wouldfind and read the first accounts of the Djinn.

There are good and evil jinn, they are like a group of demons. In my opinion they are neither good nor evil. That's just my opinion.

Djinn. The d in it I put it as dark jinn. I believe they are the darker aspect. It's my belief I am not putting it up as a fact.

I have read a great deal about Djinn,Jinn, Genies. Very Arabic and Indian! Wonderful stories; so long as you take them for what they are---stories told around the camp fires. Of course, depending on the story-teller, they can appear very real. Many believe that they are true.
Sir Richard Burton (not the actor!) translated many of the stories into English.

I think the djinn are darker aspects. While the jinn are more neutral. I read somewhere I don't know where that the devil was a djinn. It doesn't make sense though.

Jinn nor djinn would have enough power to rival a god.

There are hundreds of these stories that are told, I haven't had the pleasure to search and read up the myths of the Jinn, but with what I have gathered, they are quite the creatures.

Two of the books translated by Sir Richard Burton have a great deal about Jinn.(He called them Genies!).
One is The Thousand And One Nights. (Sharharazade). This has the stories of Al Haddin (alladdin, the lad with the lamp!) and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves; and my own favourite,The Thief of Bagdad.
The other book is The Perfumed Garden. Full of Jinns; and very sexy!

Djinn and jinn. I think in my term the d in djinn means devil jinn. Jinn is just a spirit of incredible power. That's my term.
