So, I've noticed that there are a lot of people who post curses and hexes on the site. There are also a lot of people who ask for a curse or a hex.
I just want to know, why? I think a lot of people are drawn to magic because they want to hurt someone, and I haven't seen a lot discouraging that. I personally think magic should be used to help someone, and only used to hurt someone in dire circumstances. What do you think?
In my case I was using dark magic to place a curse on someone because they hurt me, they fighter with me, and I almost lost my job because they where telling lies and rumors about me.
Well what you have to realize is not everyone believes in the "law of three" and many people follow different belief systems that say it's ok to harm someone.
I understand that. I don't particularly follow it myself, I've just noticed that some seem to be in search of ways to hurt people when they first begin.
I have a few hexes on hand myself, just incase I need them, but mostly I focus on healing and protection.
Many who partake in cursing are fully aware of the law of karma, and are simply willing to reap whatever they sew. Other don't subscribe to it, and do not see it as a factor in their workings.
But curses aren't strictly to cause harm either, which should be kept in mind. Many of them are detterents and bindings - influencal only to certain factors of life, rather than the physciality of a person.
A person who does not believe in karma is likely to take matters into their own hands, for if they were wronged they expect that nothing will happen to balance the wrong if they don't make it happen.
personally i just want to know. if i ever get cursed i would like to know how to get rid of it and protect myself [which i was cursed once, luckily i had studied so i knew what to do.] many people think curses are the end of the world, panic, and make things worse. when really its just a lot of negative energy and can be dealt with if you know how. i also like collecting spells, because if someone has a problem, i would like to provide a solution.
i think a lot of teens discover magick and think they can get anything they want, so they cast a spell to get their crush, cast a spell for good grades, cast a spell for money, and when it all comes crashing down, cast a spell to get revenge because it was that guy/girl you never got along with who cursed you to lose you crush, marks, and money. the reality that balance is the law of the land never crosses their minds. i think thats why theres a fascination. you've either been cursed, or you were wronged and need revenge. mostly, its life, but thats a scary thought, people like to feel in control.
I don't believe in curses. It's only a curse if you let it be a curse. Curses are violent, thus I don't use them. Nor do I care about them. What's first the curse or justice?
