Oh, they are very real, people that say they aren't are just like the people that claim magick isn't real... but only people that have had years of experience with spirit work and can really understand how these boards work and what they're doing with them should even consider using one.
Ouija boards or bad business. I won't go near them. Superstitious? Yes, I am very when it comes to these things. I won't even be in the same house if someone is using them. I'm twitchy just thinking about it.
If you are so determined to mess with one, please make sure you know what your doing. Be very respectful and use a circle and protection. Don't ever demand anything and make sure that you Invoke the spirits.
Ouija boards use the player's energy.
Your auric field causes the planchette to move across the board. The more people you have playing, the more likely you are to get a response.
This may be because of the energy theory I threw at you just now, or because someone is purposely moving the planchette.

hi there I am afraid that they are real and they do work, yes you can contact the dead, but be very careful if you do as once you use the Ouija board you are opening yourself up to, good and evil, as you are really opening up a porthole where any kind of spirit could come through. goodness and light.
I read many of the responses here and I agree with some strongly. Even though I have not used the boards in a very long time I can say they are real and work very well, and may tick off some spirits. I have seen some unusual things happen while using them and felt some awesome power which scared the hell out of me. So yes use a protection amulet and take precautions. If you have spirit guides or friendly dead relatives use them to answer through the board instead of calling on unknown powers. My experience has been that you can use a board by yourself even without hovering your hands over the roller. It will move on its own to answer. They allow spirit communication pretty well. Also if your into that sort of thing have you thought about using dowsing crystals. Dowsing crystals are a way of obtaining yes and no answers to questions that you may have. Some people use them for finding things too by dowsing over maps or following the pull of the crystal. I have photo's up in my profile that includes at least on dowsing crystal. Dowsing crystals also called Pendulums-You can do much more with those than yes or no answers. I use a alphabet chart and talk to my loved ones with it. They have been used in every world war, by us and by the enemy. Even Patton used them in the war. So did Hitler.they were once used by a priest in France to find gem mines successfully in Africa.
As for Ouija boards- They are not a toy, make sure your protected. calling on loved ones is best. Do not make fun of the board-my son learnt that the hard way. as with any tool it has to be respected. A doorway can be opened with dowsing crystals as well. but people fear the board much more. You just have to be confidant in you and your abilities.
