why do my spells jump?

I'm Tina. Have been doing spells for about a year. The last 2 spells i done have have jumped from the person I'm doung spells on to her daughter for the first one and my mother in law for the second one. Can someone please help me???

As you gain experience with casting, your will will naturally become stronger. As you gain strength, your will will become more complex, assimilating what you've learned so far into your spell. This is a good time to get more specific and direct with your intent. You must be ever more certain that the spell is geared ONLY toward the target. Also, shielding will become more and more useful as you progress. Good luck!

It is possible that you need to be more clear with your intentions. (I think RocLee aluded to this) I would suggest spending more time maing it clear who and what the spell is for exactly. If you aren't writing your own spells yet, you may want to start. It will make it easier to state your intentions how you intend for them to be.

What people don't seem to understand is that there are more forces at work than themselves. The absolute best advice I can give you is to meditate and divinate on the reason why this is happening. If you cannot do that, then you need to stop spell work and begin practicing divination because it is essential in my opinion before spells/rituals and during long term work periodically. Just because a person isn't a practitioner of magick doesn't mean they aren't naturally protected by their own will, their guides, or their ancestors. Magick is a natural force that existed well before humans figured out how to utilize it to manifest their desires. It is working subtly around us at all times. Most people fail to see that.
