Unlocking inner Aura

I need some help with this. I have tried many times to unlock it, but it requires a calm mind. My problem is that I can't calm my mind, much less focus on the spell while doing so. How would someone go about finding the "Off Switch" for your conscious mind? Anybody who might be able to help I will thank.

Your aura is the energetic field that surrounds your body. It cannot be "locked", it is always there. You don't need any magic spell to unlock it.

A good method I've heard of is to put your hand infront of something white and stare at your hand. Zone out and focus. I've tried it. I've gotten to the point where I see a clear aura. That's it.

Reginleif, what you speak of is called an afterimage. While that's not inherently spiritual, it can be as well as the same colors and shapes can be further developed for visions. When you get more into those, you experience closed eye hallucinations more associated with altered states of consciousness.

Atomspliter, your problem isn't that you need to "unlock" your aura, but that you need to get used to working with it. When I tried to focus my energy through my body, it was really hard for me because I was concentrating on "moving a small muscle really hard" rather than using all of my muscles to move my body, so to speak; I wasn't letting my energy flow properly. Once I let go of concentrating or focusing too hard, energy work became a lot easier for me.

As for turning on the voice of knowledge, or the conscious voice, meditation is key.

I've been able to see Auras since I was little, since an accident when I was five. Some days are a little difficult, and meditation does help.
