I have heard many different things but I believe that when a chakra is overactive it is because another chakra point is under active. The different chakra points on your body try to stay balanced. An overactive or underactive chakra can cause symptoms related to that region.

For the third eye, symptoms may include having thoughts of fantasy, sinus issues, headaches, nausia, blurred vision, mental fog, hallucinations, confusion, anxiety and other head and mental disorders. Not everyone experiences these.

If you are concerned I would suggest grounding and meditation to help balance your chakra's.

well i have seen a friend of mine with third eye issues (over active), basically when his issues started, the main thing was he started thinking on a level that was different, he could account for anything, he could predict and hypothesis anyones action with very minimal detail (sometimes not even knowing anything and still be right). also he said he could gaze beyond and see what a person truly is, and the sin their most prone to, but he was an odd case to begin with so don't count on anything in this story
