School and magic

I am eager to learn about magic, but school gets in the way. I usually have a lot of homework so I rarely have any free time. How do I learn magic when I rarely have any free time to do so?

You have time to post on an occult forum. Surely, you can find the time to research.

Notice how I said "rarely", meaning sometimes I will have free time, but not often. The time I have is short as well. I don't have hours of free time to research.

Prioritize school and research by time management. You have to give yourself some free time during the day, even if it is only thirty minutes a day.

Many, many people here would benefit from just half an hour each day spent towards furthering their studies. While magic may be exciting and intriguing to learn and get into, please keep in mind that your school work is also important and should honestly come first.

Even if you can spend hours reading, it is best (in my opinion) to take time away from active practice and study to fully reflect and absorb what you are learning so as to better understand it, rather than simply knowing it. Do not think it a bad thing to have to pace yourself.

You can also go about various mental and energy exercises throughout the day, as many of us tend to do. It may or may not be for you, but I find it beneficial to live my practices and studies as a lifestyle.

Also the answer sometimes is not how much time do we have, but how we use it. Lets say - you have one hour, but while leaning about magic you also are chatting in forums, doing nails, playing with cat and so and on, you won't learn much during that hour, right? So be focused what you do and keep yourself in right track :)

I combined the two when I was in school. When given book reports with the choice of books, I would do it on books about something I wanted to learn about. That way I got to read whatever book it was that I was wanting to read but also do my school.

Same thing with research papers.

I got the same problem as you, and my solution to it is to do my research in the night. Of course you shouldn't work the entire night, otherwise you will be very tired during the day.
