Valknut in a dream.

I had this very unnerving dream where I am sorting through a box of miscellaneous stuff, jewelry, books ect, all things I have or had. I find this necklace and I pull it out. It's a valknut necklace. I never had one, but when I held it up to my face I get a briefly get a flash of something familiar and an strange feeling. I know that valknut is the death knot but why am I seeing it in a dream? What does it mean?

I'm not a dream interpret expert, but I think this dream symbolizes, the return of old or negative emotions form the past. Maybe the reoccurring of a problem that you have had before and that affected you.

For me, I thinks its normal, because Valknut is an ancient symbol and its familiar to all, and that's a good signal that you've found it familiar to you in the dream, and you seen it as a pandant which makes it more good, because pendants like Valknut, pentacle, mangal sutra, etc were wore for positivity. And you're saying that you pulled out manythings from the box, it means everthing is perfectly kept in the box without any negative distraction or any kind of bad curse. I suggest to read more about Valknut and unlock positivity.

The valknut isn't really a symbol of "positivity", per say. Many Heathens that devote themselves to Odin wear this symbol as a sign of dedication. In the past, warriors who were dedicated to Odin would wear the valknut into battle- and it was kind of a sign that they " are willing to be sacrifices to Him at any time He should choose".

As an Odinist said, "the valknut is rather a dire symbol, and among modern Odin-worshipers the meaning is taken as insert spear here; in other words, the person who wears it is marked for Odin. Of course this makes it a protective symbol too, but more in the sense of Odin protecting those marked for Him because no one other than Him has the right to kill us".

If you want to read historically about the symbol and speculation about its potential meanings, I suggest going here:
