Indian name for herbs

I have started planting my herb garden with 2 types of sage or basil (we say tulasi in Tamil) and 3 other herbs for which I know their Tamil names only. (thunutu pachaillai, omavalli,sitrarathai ) now I knew more herbs well in English but could not find in my city. When I translate their names there is difference in the plants as to variation in climate. And I doubt if there may be difference in their quality or purpose. Any suggestions for tropical herb garden

If you're having trouble translating the names try using the scientific names. (Latin) the binomial nomenclature is the same in every country because it's Latin.

I did some research and I think the names of the plants you didn't know are Rue, Indian Borage, and Indian Ginger. I'll look up some other good plants for you to grow. :)

Thank you LauElder.. I tried using botanical names, that when i found the leaves and flowers vary in texture. Do you think their qualities won't change in this hot climate.

Thanks once again.. I knew the medicinal uses of these plants and just knew their magical uses.

The properties of the herbs shouldn't vary because of the climate. You may just have a slightly different variety which could account for the differences.

Then let me go ahead and plant some more..
