Is there any rules or something in Christian religion that says no one can't do magick unless she leave the religion?

While some folk disagree, Christian Witchcraft is more abundant than you might think. A good person to talk to about it would be Christowitch on Tumblr (I don't personally know any Christian Witches here, but there are Christian Wiccans, Priests, and magickal practitioners here on SoM).

Most Christian Occultists believe that the magical practice, spiritual acts, divination, and Witchcraft that they do is through the power of the Abrahamic God. As with Christian Wiccans, Christopagans often believe that the other Gods are lower than God, beings of God, or, if you are soft polytheistic, that all of them are actually God. It's by nature an eclectic belief, but Christian oriented syncretic religions are actually very common - Vodou and Santeria are examples of Afro-Christian syncretic religions.

By all means, I am not the last word on this matter and I encourage you to seek multiple opinions, read the lore you want to read, and form your own opinions and beliefs.

"but there are Christian Wiccans". Not so! Christianity and Wicca are two opposing religions. Christianity believes Jesus was the son of God. Wicca does not!
But the question was about magic, not religious beliefs. Christians use magic all the time. They call it "prayers". A Catholic priest performs magic every morning at Mass. What Christian teaching is against is witchcraft! Not magic! That's because the Christian teaching is that witchcraft is a religion; it isn't! Many Christians still believe that witches are Devil Worshippers;because the early Christian teachings said so!
Yet I have often seen a church occurrence that happens practically every day amongst Catholics. A devout Catholic will perform the ritual of buying a small candle, lighting it from the other candles on the rack, and then kneel to say a prayer to God or a Saint. They have just cast a spell! But they are not aware of it!

Whether or not we agree with the concept of Christian Wicca, there's an entire coven here dedicated to them and there are a lot more than the folk here who adhere to it. The simple matter of bringing it up was to showcase that people have different beliefs when it comes to spiritual and magical matters. If there are Christian Wiccans, there can definitely be Christian Witches as well - it's all a matter of personal belief.

Yes, I know about the coven. Nevertheless,it is a misnomer. Also, there are a great many different "cults" that call themselves witches, that do not practise witchcraft. What the so-called Christian Wiccans do is pick bits of the two religions and put them together. It is like claiming to be a Christian Muslim,or a Christian Buddhist. The truth is that Christianity is a belief that Jesus is the son of God, Wiccans believe in the horned God and the Goddess; it is a fertility religion.Christianity is certainly not that! But,of course, anybody can believe anything they wish. Witchcraft.however, is not a religion at all! So can be practised by any religion; which was the point of the original quiry.

because Wicca is a very passive religion with very little rules, people think they can smash two things together and call it 'Wicca' [like 'its not witchcraft, i'm Wiccan, its totally different, i'm good, they're bad' which is untrue] yes, there are people who call themselves 'Christian Wiccans' and while i don't take offence if thats what you want to go by, Christian Witch or Christian Witchcraft makes more sense [but those words give off an evil tone] Christian Wiccan is like a Jewish Muslim, or a Buddhist Hindu, you're combining two religions that have some contradicting beliefs. with that all said, yes people follow 'Christian Wicca' and yes, people do include it as a form of Wicca [along with many other contradictions] so if you feel it's the right path for you, go for it, just realize its contradictory.

anyway, moving away from Christian Wicca, there are passages in the bible which claims you shouldn't do evil magick, magick at all, or let a witch live, but the bible was not only written years after Jesus died, but has been translated and rewritten so many times it's rather unreliable. with that said, the bible says as a Christian you shouldn't do magick [and i'm going with spell casting magick, magick is defined many ways, and you could call many types of technology magick. hence the Amish i suppose] magick is not good or evil, it's neutral energy, the cast gives it a positive or negative intent. do some soul searching, and speak with your priest/reverend/minister at your church for a more 'professional' view. from my perspective, you can cast spells, they are not evil [if you stick with healing and protection] but your religion is against witchcraft, so you should ask your God for an answer.

Wait a minute Nekoshema. You are quoting the Old Testament as though it is the New Testament. There is nothing in the teachings of Jesus about not letting witches live; or about magic. Jesus uses a lot of magic. (And so did Moses!). So, let's have it clear. Christianity is based on the New Testament; with just a nod at the Old! Judaism,or the other hand, is all about the Old Testament, and very little about the New!

Take a look into hoodoo and conjure work, it is very much like witchcraft with the Bible.

If you are worried about having to leave Christianity, look at the mysticism in Christianity. St. Teresa, St. John of the Cross, and Miguel de Molinos, among others, wrote works on the topic of mysticism in Christianity.

For a Jewish route, start with Aryeh Kaplan's works.

Meditation and other spiritual practices are not religion exclusive. Mainstream Judaism and Christianity just ignore some of the mystic leanings. In the old testament, there are several examples of prophets performing spells, trances, and other forms of divination and magical working, it's just not considered "witchcraft."

Do whatever feels comfortable for you!
