Anyone heard of a Magickal Success Indicator??

I've never heard of it but it sounds like something that does not work. No one or no thing can indicate and tell you if your magic is or is not going to work.

I ask this question as i was on a site and i can get with other things a Magickal Success Indicator which you will need the following: - Tea Light, Water, Pot and 2 tabs of alka seltzer or dry ice.

For me to get the instruction there is a small catch.

Personally I would not trust this.

It sounds to me like something likely involving putting the tea light in the center of the empty pot, surrounding it with water, then lighting it. Then maybe some ritual-type stuff thrown into the instructions, followed by adding the Alkaseltzer or dry ice to the water.

The determination of success will be whether the candle remains lit.

But here's the thing: Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide. Alkaselzer reacts with water to produce carbon dioxide. CO2 is more dense than the surrounding air,and will pool in the pot. It will deprive the candle of oxygen and extinguish the flame.

If the tell of success is the candle going out, it is nearly guaranteed as long as the air in the room is relatively still (as in you're not too near the air vent or a ceiling fan).

I look more into and yes you are right, there's in fact 2 ways it will tell you if your spell has work or not, though if the flame does go out, then it shows the stronger the spell has work :)

Might give it ago just to see if there's any difference for me when casting a spell, ill do a spell with it and one without it just to see :)
