My Best friend who is normally a very light hearted person has become cold and unemotional. She's been diving down darker paths and she is now drawing multiple dark things. She only draws gore, she finds on the internet like anime characters with horns through their head dripping blood and music guru's with upside down crosses on their heads. and when you get's angry over little things she blacks out and becomes a whole different person and gets murderous and she gets this strength she doesn't even normally have not even when she was angry prior to these situations it's new and when she snaps out of it she doesn't remember any of it and she's very ill afterward . so my questions are, is this possession or mental defect. if possession how can I find out what this spirit is?
Have you spoken to her? Asked her how she's doing, how her life is going? Sounds like an onset of accute depression. If she's distressed to the point of periodical mental breakdown, she may need proffesional help.
There is a rare percentage of possession but, depends,by the things u say,if she is possesed, she is possesed by a dark ghost,a bad one...if its mental,we've got another thing...maybe she knows something and Doesn't tell anyone that's why she is under so much pressure, talk to her just to figure out
There's also the possiblity that your friend is simply going through some sort of chemical-emotional change. The brain goes through a lot of different development while someone grows up. Some things which are potential may or may not develop during maturation. Some of these are personality traits, and even some mental illnesses(not that I'm saying your friend has one).

How old is she? To me it sounds like normal teenage identity crisis. Everyone goes through it. She's finding who she is. So she's a little morbid, so was I. My daughter is hitting puberty and is already throwing out everything pink, wants skulls and "dark things", reads horror fiction, hates the word "cute" etc. And she's 9! "Girly" things revolt her. She's following in my footsteps nearly exactly and I'm loving it. I was so afraid she was going to be prissy her whole life and we would never get along.
Snapping at you sounds like hormones.forgetting about it seems like she doesn't care, not that she blacks out. You said she was cold. She's a tomboy isn't she? It's a common characteristic. It seems like you are upsetting her.
People change. Especially between the ages of 12-25. Many of your friends will grow apart from you. You can either accept them for who they become or move on.
She did that and passed through it fairly quick and i got my answer it's possession because she's been opening up and she described 3 dark spirits to me 2 female 1 male who died and did horrific things according to her and she says they tell her to harm others though she rarely listens to them she snaps sometimes and she told me in her exact words when I try to help her "stop trying to get rid of my spirits"
Clearly this is not possession as if it were possession they will make her do what they want not that it's up to you to listen to them to do a particular thing. It may be some mental illness or there are other possibilities.Does she like watching too may Paranormal movies etc if she is and is kind of obsessed with Paranormal things then her mind could be playing tricks on her another possibility could be that she believes that she is possessed and spirits around her want to possess her etc therefore she acts like that. It's basically all in her mind not in the physical universe
As a teenager, any number of things can cause mood changes, including depression, stress, mental illness, trauma, etc.
Many people with or without these previously mentioned events/issues can and do draw dark things.
YOu say she blacks out and becomes a different person. How exactly?
Has she gone to a doctor for these events? If not, the likely culprit most of the time is mental illness. Possession is very rare.
You say murderous is one of these personality traits. How so? If she was murderous, that implies violent and possibly homicidal. Can you cite examples of these events?
Only after ruling mental illness, could you bother with considering possession.
Does she have an aversion for founts of faith and superstition, or items, trinkets, substances that people strongly believe thwarts/harms/scares evil spirits of any culture?
