Mentors online are difficult to find because it is simply reading. The best way of learning personally is through reading lots of books and gaining knowledge from many different people and authors rather than just one mentor.

Restoration of what? You asked this in another forum, but you are not explaining what it is. You don't need a mentor of sorts, as you can learn this on your own. Going by your name, I suggest all beginners to go to forums. In the General Info section read Starting Out and Basics Expanded. This will get you started.

I agree online books and articles are the best way to start. I have found the advice and articles here to be very helpful.
