Quartz Scrying Balls

Hey guys! I am looking into scrying and I was wondering if you guys could tell me where the best place to buy a quartz ball would be. Also, if you guys have any tips on scrying or the type of ball that I should get, that would be awesome. (also, I am a college student without much money to spare so I'd prefer to not spend hundreds on a ball)

You don't have to use a ball. To save you some money and time. You can just use a mirror. Like the ones in your house

One alternative is to use a pot or bowl with a dark colored (or very dirty) inside. Place a shiny object like a new coin on the bottom and fill with water. Place the pot in the moonlight or allow a candle to illuminate the coin. Gaze into the pot allowing your eyes to relax. While you let your imagination do its thing, have a notebook and pen handy to write down what you think you see.

Quartz balls are quite expensive. I've seen quartz balls that were 2" cost 40-60 dollars.

I agree with using a mirror to start out with, but not just "any mirror." There's too many things reflected into it, and will distract you.

Make a "black mirror." Simply buy a picture frame and paint the backing black. Let it dry, and you can cleanse and charge it in the moonlight. These are also said to not be touched by the sunlight, for they'll loose such energy. When using this tool, simply light a candle, meditate, and with your "haze sight" (slightly blurring your vision) gaze into the surface. Record what symbols, faces, etc. that you see.

And remember, scrying takes practice. So don't get frustrated if/when it doesn't work the first couple times. Just be patient.
