How long did it take you guys to be an accomplished witch/whatever this site calls a male magicker? And are any of you willing to tutor me online in terms of magic?

Personally, I studied for a good eight or nine months before I really tried working with magic. It was about a year before I felt comfortable enough to try performing any rituals.

The time can vary, but it depends on how much research, study, and practice you put into what you're doing, like anything else really.
I would advise you to be very careful when talking to someone online, in regards to learning (or anything else for that matter). Just because someone says they know something, does not mean they do.
My advise, research on your own. Check and double check your sources, and go from there. You can always pose questions, if you have them. But from personal experience, I have found that we can do just as well on our own, as we could with a mentor.

A male is also called a witch. And Lonicera's right don't trust anyone and ask for them to teach you nor accept if they ask to teach you. With knowledge comes power, use it.

Witch is a unisex term. If you feel comfortable with something else you can use it, just be sure you know the historical origin. [Warlock for example is seen as an insult]

By 'accomplished' what do you mean? Being a witch is a constant journey no one is ever finished. If you mean know enough to cast a spell it depends on your level of dedication. Could take a week, could take 10 years. Average I think is 1-2 months. Wiccans believe in rigorous study for a year and a day before you can fully grasp the basic concepts. [But not everyone does]

Few tutor online for a number of reasons. It's illegal in many places to teach a religion to a minor without their parents consent. Secondly, while you can read about magick, it's something you should experience in person with someone. When it comes to energy work for example, your teacher could give you a detailed email on how to charge energy, but you might not do the exercise, or you didn't do it correctly. Without the person in the room you'd never know. Thirdly most who agree to teach don't actually have the experience needed. They've read one book and think they can teach. This is why many people suggest books, articles, and videos, and should the person need help, the user will guide them in the right direction, but they will not teach. If you want to learn, look into the covens on the site and try joining one that teaches what interest you.

You can't be taught persay online....however, those in the same path that your interested in might suggest books, or help you out if you struggle understanding something.
