Manners first!

I get a lot of people asking me for readings with no manners or respect. Just a note if you want a reading -
NOBODY owes you a reading, so PLEASE have respect when asking for one. No matter who, not just me, the more polite you are, the more we would be willing to do your reading.

Basic courtesey people. Come on!

Hello.While I totally agree with you,keep in mind some people maybe did not try to be rude.

Maybe they just do not really know English. I have seen some with a really bad written language that made it very difficult to guess what they meant to say.

And do you do readings? That is really nice.

That is true, i try to keep that in mind, it's just those people who demand that i can't stand.
And yes i do, thank you. :)

Many members write on ipads or cell phones. They are not being rude; just writing quick messages.

While the language and typing can be a factor there are alot of times when people do get demanding. For me though this is generally when they ask for a reading and I turn them down because I'm not offering readings at the time or because they didn't get the answer wptheybwanted and will demand a new reading.

Whether its sms or sitting at a computer...you only do readings for people you want to do readings for.

Thats your choice. And frankly, as great as sms is...manners still count.

I agree! After I started a free reading thread, many mailed me only their questions, not hello or how are you. If you want tobask someone for a reading, please greet them to the best Of your abilities. Then ask your questions.

Oh well...this is going to sound sad but..now you know why most SoM members state in bold on their profiles "I don't do readings/cast spells for others anymore".

Nowadays politeness seems an endangered species because of its natural predator,rudeness,which has breeded too much.

There are only 2 options:
-ignore those people; do readings for those that meet your expectations,nobody can judge you,it is only fair
-stop doing readings for anyone,or put a tax on your services.

As far as I know,people stick to one of those.

while messages can be quick, a simple "how are you?" And/or a "please" goes a very long way. :)

I offer readings sometimes and developed a good reputation for accuracy on the site,but I ignore most requests
They don't realize when we offer free readings they are taking up our time,now we offer but ask nicely for one and two,don't ask me for stupid readings,also I do not read minors,I am not a camp counselor,and also I don't do relationship readings and most people ignore that simple fact and ask about relationships
