There are a lot of other things you can do with magick, though! There are empowerment spells, protection spells, peace spells, and many others.

It would be lots of fun to be able to transform into something other than human. However, it is simply not possible, at least on the physical plane. Many believe in various spiritual planes, in which, the individual can change it's astral body into whatever. There's lots of great articles here and online about astral projection (a method of traveling to the astral planes) as well as the spirtual planes themselves.
