No offense but if we were face to face I would have to laugh at you for believing that the charm would work. I think some form of magick uses the 7 point star just like sometimes high magick users use the a form of the circle desribed in the GKoS

It will only work if you make it work... symbols only have as much power as you give them. It's an easy mistake to make.
