Theory on Transformation

It is commonly believed that pond can not change what a person looks like. But I have a theory on how it can be possible. It will require absolute knowledge of the human genome, and a single cell zygote. I think that if one knew enough about how RNA and DNA mutations worked, then it would be possible to force it onto the stem cells of the unborn and effectivity make a transformation. A powerful witch may be able to do one cell at a time, but when someone is fully grown, the change in one cell might not be significant. I feel like I explained this badly but you can ask me questions about this. Also, I think it would be very amoral.

Interesting, I think I understand what you are trying to say.

It also depends on what point of view you look at it on I guess?

When my mom was pregnant with me my DNA changed slightly, I lost a chromosome. I don't remember which one, but I am first generation to have NF1, no one in my family has it nor is it in the family history.

Wow, what effects did it have in you?

NF1 is neurofibramitosis, it compromised my immune system growing up, meaning I was always sick as a child, and had to be pulled out of school, I was normal weight ay age 5 then dropped to 40 lbs from getting the flu to much. Since I do have NF1 my body is unpredictable, I was dignoised with tumors last year and been going through chemo since.

The tumors are called astrocytomas and theyre in the spine, they are usually found in the brain, but my scans for the brain were clean.

Omg that is terrible! I do hope that some way, some how, things will get better for you!

It doesn't bother me, it's just who I am, we all have a problem some how or another :)

First of all, nobody has the absolute knowledge of human genome at all stages of development, some mutations occur not at first stages of development, but later.Predicting mutations and genetic traits passed down is very difficult task, even when targeting specific genes. It is mainly because many traits are not triggered by the expression of single gene, but by activation of many and suppression of some. Some genes are not activated by pathways of genetics, but epigenetic, where a gene that was previously not expressed suddenly is activated, due to environmental adaptation.Other changes happen due to virus infections.RNA is prone to mutations, but DNA is not. It is because it has self-check mechanism that fixes mistakes in the matrix. The newly created genomes are very efficient with it, the process gets progressively faulty as we age. Moreover, there is mechanism within mutated cells, which is activated and forces them to commit suicide, then they are absorbed safely by other specialised cells, so the mutated genetic material is dismantled safely and absorbed. The cells that really have the means to block the suicide process become the cancer ones. Trust me you do not want these type of cells transforming you in any way shape or form. Activation and deactivation of genes is not a conscious process, and it has never been or going to be. Once a stem cell has decided what is going to be, the reversal of the process is impossible. There is only one known organism that can reverse the process and it is very simple organism at that. Simple organisms have simple genomes, our genome is not the biggest, but it is the most complex one. We might be genetically almost identical to apes and very close to mice, but our intellect and understanding is like thousand times more advanced. Genes are not everything.
The bottom line is that this theory is not even remotely plausible.

Thank you for telling me about a lot of stuff I didn't even know! You're very knowledgeable and that I good! I just had that theory because of gene therapy. It was just a theory to look at. But you can never truly know(I'm not sure how much I can trust MORA).
