Introducing JunoBless

Hi all!

I'm a 25-year-old solitary ecclectic from Australia, currently living in Denmark (Sjlland island, if anyone's in the area and wants to chat witchy stuff). Since I come from an atheist/Protestant Christian upbringing and I'm one of those mogrel-heritage Australians (just... all of Europe, from what I can tell - UK, Scandinavia, Western EU, Eastern Eu... everything) I have mainly played mix-n-match with traditions and deities from Europe, though I am drawn to Egyptian and other North African type traditions.

I learned Tarot at about 17 and I give free readings via PM or, occasionally, email or Skype. I also seem to fall into a kitchen witch/hedge witch/hoodoo worker category, from what I can tell, in terms of my workings. I started practicing quite young, around 12-13.

I've always been interested in history and the ceremonial and magical practices of ancient peoples, though unfortunately the way my life has unfolded I only have some mid-level general knowledge on any of it.

I have a daughter who is 8, and six pet rats, and I'm facing the fact that my rather abrupt exit from Australia means I now have to build everything up again - books, herbs, oils, tools, everything - so forgive me while I settle in to my new home, after which I will resume giving readings and providing services.

In the meantime, I am looking to connect with witches in Denmark or other areas of northern Europe, chat about stuff, study up, discuss theology, and contribute knowledge and experience to the site.

:)
