i know this is one of most scary stories that have been made. The legend is. if you stand infront of a mirror and say bloody mary 3 times in the dark. she would come after you to like scratch your eyes out or something.
i dont think its real, but its interesting to talk about, what do du think about this legend??
Well, I tried it once, and then the room went blood red, like I only saw blood red for the amount of time I was in the bathroom. Maybe someone did something, like cast a spell on those words (I'm not sure if it is possible or not) one point in history, but I think it works, don't do it though! I have heard it doesn't work for certain people though.
It seems to me that it is likely that even if there was never such a person, she would likely exist as a thought form empowered by all who believe in the legend. From what I've read, beings given life by collective belief(some subconcious emission of psychic power, aparently.) generally aren't powerfull but the legend is quite old, so I would recomend you protect yourself if you wan't to call her; although nothing might happen, best wishes.
-wulfe.-
actually didnt want to do that. im too chicken to do it. lol so dont worry im not going to that. never in a life time. its too creepy for me. even if it was real or not.
I think this most likely refers to Queen Mary "the Bloody" I, but only because I heard she was the subject of quite a few other nursery rhymes. We should have just as much luck calling her with "Mary, Mary quite contrary / How does your garden grow?" if it's true the rhyme references the Queen's 'garden' (graveyard) the Protestant body count growing, and the rest of the rhyme describes the instruments of torture she had used on them: "silver bells, cockle shells, and pretty maids all in a row."
Maybe too many people said the words but weren't focused on what they wanted or didn't care what they meant. I've heard such things can weaken spells. After 400 years I'd get bored of answering to slumber party games and go towards the light, too.
I agree with that last part, I would get pretty tired too. But when I did it, I didn't see her, everything went red though, maybe it was just me, or maybe I was too scared. I don't know...
There is another thread for this that talked about Bloody Mary.
Many have said that a demon or something negative did something, she came out and attacked them or nothing worked at all. I won't do it, fearing a evil entity will attack me.
